Little Zach 2010: Music Video

This song was composed for Fred’s newest Grandson, Zachary, while “Little Zach” was being born in Portland, OR in late-April 2010. Fred hand-delivered a studio version of the song (on CD) to Zachary on his first trip to visit his newest family member in August 2010.

Second Life 2010: newest album #3

Second Life

“A musical journey through the beginnings of a Second Life”

Fred’s third album is a soundtrack of his journey from “Corporate America” to his new destination . . . Ah a Second Life!

P.S. For those of you that may become scared by Fred’s Second Life picture, no worries. Fred is still playing his Martin and plays acoustic blues on most songs. The title track is a reflective tribute to his musical roots: In 1971 when he was playing his ’71 SG in a wanna-be Black Sabbath garage band. The song, Second Life, is also a tribute to his musical partner, Bryan, who inspired Fred to get serious about performing music in 2008.

Fred’s second album was mostly recorded in his new Eagle Studio in Big Bear Lake in 2005.

The songs were written between 2001 and 2005. Two selections (Queen Charlotte Sound & The Passage) are about a trip to Alaska with Debbie in 2004. New Life is the song Fred wrote when he learned he was soon to be a new grandpa. Hey Little Man is the song he wrote for his first Grandson, Nate.

Songs From The Heart 2003: 1st album

Songs From The Heart

“A collection of love songs written for Fred’s true love and best friend, as well as his Son, Daughter and Mother”

Fred’s first album includes many heart-touching tunes for all of the loved ones close to his life. The songs were written between 2001 and 2003. The selection, Thirty Years, was written and given to his wife for their 30th anniversary in Maui in August 2003. He played this song for Debbie on the beach at The Prince Hotel in Makenna. She’s My Little Wahine was actually composed in Kauai on the same trip to Hawaii and is Fred’s one and only ukulele tune.

Fred looks forward to making a new recording of many of the cool tunes on his first album someday, due to the poor sound quality of his first recording effort in 2003. Stay tuned for this one . . .
